About PayrollWarden
A WH-347 certified payroll tool built by someone who has filled out the form, not a payroll company.
Who is behind this
PayrollWarden is built and operated by Qadis Chaudhry, owner of a small New Jersey electrical contracting firm. The tool came out of the week-two problem on Davis-Bacon jobs: the form itself is manageable, but retyping the same crew, the same classifications and the same fringe split every week — while getting the fringe math exactly right — is where the time and the errors live.
We are not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Labor. We prepare Form WH-347 (Rev. January 2025, OMB No. 1235-0008) to the DOL's current layout; the certifying officer signs it, always.
How your data is handled
Stated plainly, because this is a compliance tool:
- The free form stores nothing on our servers. No account, no cookie, no database row. To make your PDF, the form data is sent to the server once, rendered, and then discarded — it is never written to disk or a database. A copy of what you typed is kept in your own browser's local storage so you can restore it next visit; the "Forget this draft" button on the form deletes it on demand.
- Full Social Security numbers are refused, everywhere. The form asks for the last four digits or an employee ID. Any payload containing a full SSN is rejected before it is rendered or saved — this is enforced in the code, not a policy aspiration.
- Paid accounts store exactly what they need to: your project profiles (classifications, wage determination rates, fringe splits), your crew roster, and the weeks you save. Passwords are stored as salted PBKDF2 hashes, never in plain text. Sessions are HTTP-only cookies.
- No selling, no sharing, no advertising. Data is not sold, shared or used for advertising, and there are no third-party analytics or ad trackers on this site.
- Deletion on request: email support@payrollwarden.com from your account address and your saved data is deleted.
The long version is in the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.
What the tool does and does not do
- It prepares the form, computes Columns 6B, 6C, 7A and 7B from your inputs, and flags common errors — fringe shortfalls, overtime paid under 1.5× the basic rate, and apprentice rows that are missing a program registration number or a pay percentage.
- It does not file the form for you, does not sign it, and does not confirm compliance. The certifying officer's signature is the legal act, and it is yours.
- Error checks catch common mistakes. They are not a legal review or a guarantee.
